ACTIVITIES

ALI AKBAR MEDICAL CENTRE VIS-À-VIS CHARITABLE/WELFARE ACTIVITIES

Ali Akbar Medical Centre (AAMC) has functioned very well since 2010-2011 as per its mandate approved by the SECP (Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan). It provides basic medical and healthcare services, free of cost, to the poor and the underprivileged classes of the society. Daily average strength of outdoor patients has, by the grace of Allah Almighty, increased to almost 180-200. As a result of good handling and care at the AAMC, followed by good treatment by a qualified doctor, patient feedback is very encouraging. This year, AAKF has spent almost Rs. 2.0 Million (Rupees two million) on renovation, uplift and maintenance of the AAMC Building. This amount was provided by the family itself and no amount was spent out of the donations/contributions made by donors towards Zakat and Sadaqaat. Additionally, arrangements are underway to provide a 10 KVA Solar System for provision of electricity, which is being provided to the AAMC by Dr. Waheed Akbar Khan.
